Hello there! I’m Emma, and welcome to Little BIG Gift Co. These Terms & Conditions outline the agreement between us when you use my website or purchase my handcrafted gifts. I’ve tried to make them as clear and friendly as possible whilst ensuring they protect both of us.

I put lots of care into describing my products accurately, including:

- Estimated creation and delivery times
However, please note that:
- Colours may vary slightly due to monitor settings
- Handmade items may have minor variations that add to their charm
- Photos are representative – your item may differ slightly
Availability
Most items are made to order, so availability depends on my current workload. I’ll always let you know if there are any delays or if I can’t fulfil your order for any reason.
Personalised Items
For personalised products, please double-check all spelling, dates, and details before confirming your order. I’ll send a proof for approval where possible, but ultimately you’re responsible for the accuracy of personalisation details.
Ordering & Payment
The Ordering Process
When you place an order with me:
- You make an offer to purchase the items in your basket
- I’ll send an order confirmation email (this accepts your offer)
- A contract is formed between us at this point
- I’ll begin creating your order and keep you updated on progress
Pricing
All prices are displayed in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout, plus any delivery charges.
Payment Methods
I accept payment by:
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
- PayPal
- Bank transfer (for larger custom orders)
Payment is taken when you place your order. For personalised items, this secures your place in my production queue.
Order Changes
I understand that sometimes you need to make changes! Please contact me as soon as possible if you need to:
- Change personalisation details (possible if work hasn’t started)
- Modify your delivery address
- Add items to your order
- Cancel your order (see Cancellation section below)

- UK Mainland: All addresses
- UK Islands: Additional charges may apply
- Europe: Selected countries (see checkout for availability)
- Rest of World: Please contact me for a quote

Delivery Issues
If your package doesn’t arrive when expected:
- Check with neighbours or any safe places specified
- Contact me with your order number
- I’ll investigate with the courier and arrange replacement/refund if needed
Delivery Address
Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate. I’m not responsible for items delivered to incorrect addresses due to customer error.
Returns & Cancellations
Your Right to Cancel
Under UK Consumer Rights, you have the right to cancel most orders within 14 days of receipt. However, personalised items are excluded from this right as they’re made specifically for you.
Returns Process
For eligible returns:
- Contact me within 14 days of delivery
- Items must be unused and in original packaging
- I’ll provide a return address and instructions
- You’re responsible for return postage costs
- Refund processed within 14 days of receiving returned item
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged or faulty:
- Contact me immediately with photos if possible
- I’ll arrange collection or replacement at no cost to you
- I’ll also cover any return postage costs
Custom & Personalised Items
These cannot be returned unless faulty, as they’re made specifically for you. However, if there’s an error on my part (wrong spelling, wrong colour, etc.), I’ll put it right free of charge.
Intellectual Property
All content on my website, including:
- Product designs and descriptions
- Photos and images
- Written content
- The Little BIG Gift Co name and branding
…is owned by me and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without my written permission.
Customer Content
If you share photos of my products on social media or send testimonials, you’re giving me permission to use this content for marketing purposes (with appropriate credit to you, of course!).
Limitation of Liability
I always strive for perfection, but I need to limit my legal liability. My liability to you is limited to the price you paid for your order, except where this would be unreasonable under law.
I’m not responsible for:
- Indirect losses or damages
- Loss of business, profits, or reputation
- Delays caused by circumstances beyond my control
- Issues with third-party services (payment processors, couriers)
This doesn’t affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Privacy & Data Protection
Your privacy is important to me. Please see my Privacy Policy for full details on how I collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Force Majeure
Sometimes things happen that are beyond anyone’s control – pandemics, natural disasters, strikes, etc. If such events prevent me from fulfilling orders, I’ll:
- Contact affected customers as soon as possible
- Offer alternative solutions where available
- Provide full refunds if orders cannot be completed
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law, and any disputes will be resolved in English courts. However, I’d much rather sort out any issues through friendly conversation!
Changes to These Terms
I may need to update these terms occasionally to reflect changes in law or my business practices. When I do:
- I’ll post the updated terms on my website
- The “last updated” date will be changed
- For significant changes, I’ll notify customers by email
- Continued use of my website means you accept the updated terms
